Problems suffered by an avid reader & ways to overcome it.

You see, I'm an avid reader. I absolutely adore reading books. As they say, it actually takes me to some other place. For a short time, it gives me the escape from reality that I look forward to. But, you see, they tell you all about the benefits that come from reading but never, not even in a gazillion years tell you it's flaws!
Reading novels gives you the hope that someday an amazingly hot guy with a sharp jaw line and high cheekbones and chiselled jaw and eyes the colour of ocean or warm brown eyes, the colour of honey and all types of -eps and abs and a narrow hip with a height of 6 feet something inches will come along and sweep you off your feet. He will have eyes for you and only you. For him, you'll be the "prettiest thing he has ever seen". You guys will face some obstacles but eventually you'll have a happily ever after. Let me tell you something, this is sheer BS! These things don't happen in real life. You don't get to marry your high school sweetheart because he is busy nailing some other chick. Hearts do break around. You like someone, they like someone else, it's just the way life is! You don't get a say in it so maybe you should stop throwing yourself a pity party & get over it already! Just make the best of  everything and everything else is gonna fall into place. Or better yet, make an imaginary book boyfriend. Peeps around you are gonna think you're a freak of nature but hey, haters gonna hate! So, just shake it off!

P.S. I'm such a hypocrite. The next guy that comes along, I'm gonna think is the Aiden Graves to my Vanessa Graves.
P.P.S I'm currently re-reading 'The Wall Of Winnipeg And Me'. I'm utterly, totally, magically, beautifully, lyrically, devastatingly in love with Aiden. I think I'm gonna date him for a while. <3
